Invited and interviewed to tutor Macroeconomics, Chemistry 101 classes at Duke. SAT: Math 770, Critical 690, Writing 790 High school and college applications were incredibly stressful for me. I applied to 23 schools (accepted to 20), took 8 AP courses (seven 5's, one 4) and know the toll it takes on families and students in the application process. I'd love to help students gain confidence in their preparation process. Additionally, as a recent graduate from a top-10 school, I can provide real-world insight into what it is like to be an involved student on campus and what admissions are looking for. I worked for the admissions department at Duke amongst other jobs. At Duke, I was president of the Outdoor Club, did research into LEED green building strategies for the Duke sustainability initiative, was secretary for my fraternity, and maintained an extremely high GPA (3.98/4.0). **I'm keen to work with a few students on general studies and college prep work-creating a plan of action, formulating a particular students' image/cohesive package, and working on specific weaknesses. I'm very well versed with applications, SAT prep, how to package different individuals, how to edit college application essays, and efficiency and timing of the whole process. The whole process can be overwhelming for students and parents, and I can simplify it, explain the small important details, and iron out a surefire plan for getting into the best schools possible.
